Between the consciousness of awakening and the vague and discreet world of dreams, the ideas that form my works germinate. A piece of an ephemeral vision, crystallized in the tangible, a measure of melody put into image, a collection of portraits of the beings who inhabit my imagination.

This is what my work as an artist represents, a combination of elements of my psyche which may at first seem disparate, but which together form a harmonious whole which contains the essence of my dreams, often waking.

Each of the scenes that are born under my brush is a representation of the themes that are alive within me, of my ever-evolving seething mind and the wildness of my inner world. The mediums that I recommend during my creative process also vary and mix, but always revolve around a central pillar, tempera.

The word tempera means mixture, and is mainly used in art to describe a type of artisanal paint, often prepared from powdered pigments and a binder, such as egg yolk.

Through the vehicle of painting, I open the doors to my perception of the great mysteries of life and the links that unite us to other beings in this world. I construct a universe where animals, plants, stars and materials interact and combine to express the beauty and interconnection of all things, and which cannot be accurately depicted within the limits imposed by words. My creations are a reflection of My quest for meaning, an access to what, for many, remains a taboo. The colors are my voice, strong and clear, which proclaims the beauty which still remains to humanity and which bears a name: Imagination.
